Required Qualifications:
Food handling certificate (the certificate is provided by the employer);
• Ability to communicate well in English;
• All other relevant qualifications in the hospitality industry.
Basic responsibilities:
Should assist the chef or head chef in the food preparation process.
• Assistance in the food preparation process;
• Preparation and cooking of meals;
• Helping other cooks;
• Assistance in replenishing stocks of food products;
• Contribution to the maintenance of food safety standards.
